St Paul’s is dedicated to providing staff with a comprehensive Professional Development programme, which is annually reviewed. This broadly encompasses areas such as best practice in education, Christian perspectives, welfare, technology, OH&S and compliance issues. Training through external providers is also encouraged to ensure our staff are equipped to face the challenges of a modern school. Such training supports staff in their Key Learning Area or field of work and is intended to facilitate advancement of career aspirations. As an IB World School, offering three continuous programmes of study, staff are provided with extensive, on-going, fully-funded training, offered both internally and by the IBO. New Staff are offered opportunities for mentoring, to ensure a smooth transition into the school.
Staff are able to participate in Cultural Tours (Egypt and Europe), Language Tours (Noumea, Spain, China), service-oriented trips (Cambodia), Duke of Edinburgh hikes, as well as teaching opportunities in our Sister Schools in China.
