Co-Curricular at St Paul's

Our vibrant school culture is sustained by the wide range of interests and abilities of our diverse, talented student community.
The Academies of Excellence at St Paul's offer co-curricular options in Dance, Drama, Music and Sports, encouraging students to follow passions, interests and abilities, with pathways to further levels of competition.

Working with outstanding teachers and visiting specialists, students engage in competitions, festivals and tours, musicals, camps and exhibitions both on campus and offsite.  Extensive facilities offer elegant spaces for creativity, performance and play – including galleries, performance and dance studios, music production studios, photomedia and digital media studios, indoor sports centre and extensive playing fields.

A broad range of activity encourages a healthy pattern for life. From Pre-Kindergarten onward, our active curriculum helps develop physicality, socialisation and resilience in our children. Annual swimming, cross-country and athletics carnivals in Junior and Secondary schools are vibrant, competitive events, displaying House spirit that is embraced by the whole school.

St Paul’s own NSW Rural Fire Service Cadet Brigade unit was formed in 1998, with the fire station and truck situated onsite. From Year 7 onward, Cadets develop teamwork and leadership potential, participating in community service and national competitions.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme combines service and adventurous journeys. Bronze, Silver and Gold award expeditions challenge and reward participants from Years 9 to 11.

The Co-curricular program is packed with activities, including Chess, Debating, Christian Fellowship groups, Model United Nations, interschool debating, national challenges and academic competitions, in affiliation with university and governmental education initiatives.
