Senior School

The Senior School of St Paul’s includes Years 10 to 12 with around 130 students in each Year group.

We strive to develop students in a holistic framework and operate activities based on the four pillars of academic excellence, leadership and teamwork, opportunities and choices, and service. The Christian values statements of St Paul’s give underlying meaning to this framework.

There are many opportunities for both learning and practising leadership skills. Formally the prefect system and the Student Representative Council are the prime student leadership roles. However, sporting coaches, tutors for younger students and service projects are just a few examples of the many other opportunities available.

The concept of active and meaningful service to others is an integral part of the Senior School as we seek to develop a sense of community and internationalism in out students. The Senior School leads a significant project which supports the education of orphans in the Democratic Republic of Congo. There is also a yearly trip to Tanzania for Year 11 students who have the opportunity to be involved in a service project for a local school on the foothills of Mt Kilimanjaro. Involvement in both of these projects can be a life changing experience.
