Psalm is one of four pieces that form the composition In the Palm of Your Hand by Australian pianist and composer Gary Daley. In the Palm of Your Hand was composed in 2004 in response to a commission from the Visual and Performing Arts Department of St Paul’s Grammar School, Penrith, and launched its ARTIST PROJECT SERIES. The ARTIST PROJECT SERIES was conceived with a vision to link learning and living by connecting school students with professional artist-practitioners creating within the context of Christian spirituality. The ARTIST PROJECT SERIES hopes to participate in sustaining a local arts community. We thank Gary Daley for accepting the commission and for his willingness and commitment to work with our students and for sharing his music with us all.
